ISTJ (Logistician) – Sentinels
Practical and fact-minded individuals, their reliability cannot be doubted

Personality Traits – Introverted, Observant, Thinking, Judging
Strengths – Honest and Direct, Strong-Willed and Dutiful, Very Responsible, Calm and Practical, Creating and Enforcing Order, Jack-of-All-Trades
Weaknesses – Stubborn, Insensitive, Always by the Book, Judgemental, Often Unreasonably Blames Themselves
General Description:
As individuals who value integrity, ISTJs reject laziness and dishonesty. ISTJs take pride in their work and are not ones to shy away from responsibility or accountability. They are dedicated individuals who thrive on logic and rationality and can stay grounded even in the most stressful situations. ISTJs possess a strong sense of self-respect that stems from their morals. They believe that there is only one “correct” route in approaching problems and deeply respect structures and traditions. Extremely bounded by rules, ISTJs may come off as stubborn and are quick to judge others with opposing views. They are known to be strict and may sometimes garner a reputation of being unempathetic.
Romantic Relationships:
ISTJs experience intense feelings though they often struggle to show that side of themselves in romantic relationships. When an ISTJ connects with others, they are deeply committed and willing to go to lengths to make the relationship work. They stick to their promises to the very end and look to keep relationships functional and stable. Dependable through and through, ISTJs are the very epitome of family people. They possess a quiet but strong determination, allowing them to stay connected to the real world and their partners.
Friendships:
ISTJs tend to get along best with friends who are similar to themselves. They tend to be a bit serious and, according to the book, are not particularly affectionate either. However, they are loyal, trustworthy and reliable. Though often slow to make friends, they are relentlessly devoted once an INFJ considers someone a friend. Expressing emotional affection is not an INFJ’s strong suit, but they will still find ways to show it.

ISFJ (Defender) – Sentinels
Very dedicated and warm protectors, they are always ready to defend their loved ones

Personality Traits – Introverted, Observant, Feeling, Judging
Strengths – Supportive, Reliable, Observant, Enthusiastic, Hardworking, Good Practical Skills
Weaknesses – Overly Humble, Taking Things Personally, Repressing Their Feelings, Overcommitted, Reluctant to Change, Too Altruistic
General Description:
ISFJs are perfectionists with excellent analytical skills and are people who can be counted on to meet deadlines and uphold traditions. They are meticulous and have little problem adapting to unfamiliar situations to accomplish their goals. They prefer to operate behind the scenes, where their enthusiasm grows into loyalty and hard work. Sensitive and generous, ISFJs make good friends. They are gifted in making their peers feel seen and cherished and find immense joy in enhancing the lives of others. However, they may sometimes appear unprofessional or clumsy as they have difficulty separating personal and impersonal matters.
Romantic Relationships:
ISFJs are very faithful to their partners and approach relationships with an intensity of emotion and great devotion. While they have strong feelings, they are not always good at expressing them. ISFJs will often hesitate or struggle to take the initiative. When in a relationship, ISFJs look to make the lives of their partners better and more pleasant, spicing up even the most mundane of takes. They can make even everyday chores a heartfelt gesture of love and care.
Friendships:
Comfortable and consistent contact is how to get the private ISFJs to open up. Though seemingly reserved during initial interactions, ISFJs are caring and have well-developed people skills. People often gravitate toward the warmth and generosity of ISFJs, who have a strong sense of duty to those around them. ISFJs are thoughtful friends but almost to a fault. Fearing rejection, they often avoid acting in ways that risk the disapproval of their friends. Nonetheless, ISFJs find joy and gratification in helping their friends.

ESTJ (Executive) – Sentinels

Personality Traits – Extraverted, Observant, Thinking, Judging
Strengths – Dedicated, Strong-Willed, Direct and Honest, Loyal, Patient, Reliable, Enjoys Creating Order, Excellent Organisers
Weaknesses – Inflexible and Stubborn, Uncomfortable with Unconventional Situations, Judgmental, Too Focused on Social Status, Difficulty Relaxing and Expressing Emotion
General Description:
ESTJs hold the potential to be good leaders as they seldom stray from what is right. They trust and follow their judgements, fully embracing their principles. With sound values, they evoke confidence in the people around them, making them particularly apt at bringing people together. ESTJs do not shy away from challenges, preferring to tackle them head-on. They prioritise facts over ideas and opinions, and every move made is purposeful and calculated. Though often a source of stability in adversity, ESTJs stumble and come off as inflexible when faced with unconventional situations.
Romantic Relationships:
ESTJs are dependable and take their commitments seriously. Once they have dedicated themselves to a relationship, they stay true to it. ESTJs are transparent with their partners from the very start, be it about their identity or intentions, creating a stable foundation — a must for a successful relationship. ESTJs are typically not fans of spontaneity during their relationships, instead sticking to familiarity and routine. Additionally, while they may not express how they feel through words, they will often convey their emotions through actions.
Friendships:
ESTJs often value dependability over almost everything else. They cherish stability and shared values and push for participation from their friends. They know how to make people feel included and guarantee a good time. However, ESTJs tend to struggle with finding diversity in their friends. They find it hard to establish common ground with others who disagree with their principles and beliefs.

Personality Traits – Extraverted, Observant, Feeling, Judging
Strengths – Strong Practical Skills, Strong Sense of Duty, Very Loyal, Sensitive and Warm, Good at Connecting with Others
Weaknesses – Worried about Their Social Status, Inflexible, Reluctant to Innovate or Improvise, Vulnerable to Criticism, Often Too Needy, Too Selfless
General Description:
People-focused ESFJs find joy in serving the community. They tend to be more concerned with social status than analytical skills but are highly responsible. Being valued and respected is essential to ESFJs, and they spend time establishing social order, preferring to conform than offend others. ESFJs are sensitive and warm and care a lot about others’ feelings. They believe in the power of hospitality and good manners and often take it upon themselves to hold communities together. However, bound by their need to be accepted, ESFJs may struggle with prioritising when it comes to decision-making.
Romantic Relationships:
ESFJs are very devoted, supportive, and loyal. They are not interested in casual relationships and are focused on developing long-term commitments. Closeness and intimacy are vital to ESFJs. Hence, they tend to look for connections with honest people who are open with their emotions. However, in their pursuit of longevity, they may become too clingy or compromise their values for their partners’ approval.
Friendships:
Selfless and social, Consuls are known for standing by their friends no matter what and providing a constant source of emotional support and encouragement. ESFJs get along best with people who value them and make them feel appreciated; they tend to avoid relationships where they might face a great deal of conflict or criticism.
